Cakao Creatives was founded in 2022 by a group of passionate designers and creators who wanted to build a supportive community for people to learn, create, and thrive.
Our mission is to provide a welcoming space where people can develop their talents, collaborate on projects, and nurture their creativity. We aim to inspire personal growth through hands-on learning, and believe that creativity has the power to make positive change in the world.
Cakao was started by a team of 3 founders with backgrounds in fine art, design, music, writing, and community organizing. They shared a vision for a creative hub that went beyond just offering classes and workshops. Cakao would be a place for people to make meaningful connections, receive mentorship, and gain the confidence to turn their passions into purposeful work.
Today, Cakao serves over 100 members and has become a thriving creative community. At our core, we believe creativity lives within all people and should be nurtured. We hope to empower people to pursue their most imaginative, expressive, and authentic selves through the power of creativity.
